HUSH still going strong after 5 years

Today HUSH reached #19 on Amazon`s US Top Twenty of Best Sellers and #9 on Amazon`s UK Top Twenty of Best Sellers with HUSHED, The DiamonD, DiamonD`s & HUSH, The Series rounding out in it`s Top One Hundred.

As for HUSH in CA and AU … well they like keeping it in their Top #40 – #100; still good.

Not bad for a lazy Sunday afternoon … Hope you all are enjoying yours!

HUSH to remain “as is”

Dear Readers & Fans of HUSH:

After careful consideration, I have decided NOT to revise HUSH as I’ve decided to leave HUSH right where it’s at.  So to all those who might or may have anticipated a HUSH revision, I do apologize immensely.

The decision to not revise HUSH was not only from within me but was also decided with the help of a very unlikely source, who by all accounts, actually opened my eyes which allowed me to understand that while HUSH deals with a 14~15 year old teenage girl, giving her an adult (narrative) voice would not make her story believable even though HUSH is purely fictional.  So, with that stipulated and said, HUSH will remain “as is” – Grammatical and Punctuation errors, and all that makes readers of novel perfection cringe!

But rest assured, that as HUSH’s MC Jane matures, her (narrative) voice will mature as well, in the novels that follow.

Thank you for your patience and understanding and continued support in The HUSH Series.  I am truly and eternally grateful.

HUSH revision underway

Just a heads up that HUSH (the novel) is undergoing another revision, and with some help.  So hopefully this one will suffice and not be subjected to microscopic scrutiny in the Art of Grammar and Punctuation!

Date of Expected Revision Completion:  No later than June 30th, 2016.

#1 Best-Seller(s). . .A Gratitude of Thanks to the Buyers!

Dear Readers/Fans:

Since mid-2013, HUSH has been a frequent #1 Best-Seller on Amazon’s Violence in Society category, particularly with the UK, CA, AU and occasionally U.S., beating out many agented and traditionally published Authors and the occasional Indie Author.  But today I am happy to report that HUSH’s companion, HUSHED has officially reached (earlier this morning) and surpassed HUSH as a #1 Best-Seller putting HUSH at #2 which I thought was “Great!” because since its (HUSHED) release, HUSHED hasn’t been able to reach its peak ’til today. . .So for that I was very pleased.  Currently, and as of this afternoon, HUSH is back to being #1 with HUSHED holding onto #2, and that is more than honorable, more than what any Indie Author could ever hope for their novels.  But while I would like to take full credit for where my novels stand today, I cannot. . .the credit actually goes to the Buyers and their Reviews. . .so THANK YOU Buyers for making HUSH and HUSHED the Best of Sellers!

5 Spoilers that will leave Fans bitter about JANE. ~ Guaranteed.

  1. is NOT a graphically disturbing novel.
  2. gravitates more toward Jane’s freedom from prostitution rather than her being forced to prostitute.
  3. does find love and her real family.
  4. has a happy ending.
  5. is sure to disappoint Fans rather than to leave Fans contented.

As an author I’ve learned that it’s very hard to find a happy medium with Fans when having been part of something that is difficult to let go, or accept that this is the end. I know the feeling because after I read the Twilight saga – I myself, felt empty inside because I didn’t want it to end.  The same will apply with this saga. I’m sure the reviews and the refunds will speak for themselves.

However, Jane’s story will continue. And as I recently told another Fan: ‘Jane is not going to come out smelling like roses. In the end, you’ll probably end up despising her.’

So stay tuned as the second trilogy of the HUSH saga will only get better from here.
